the scrittoredellaluce
a new profession, the profession of the future
from this movement was born marionannischolé, the first school dedicated to training writers of light. the school’s mission is to prepare the designers of the future through interdisciplinary educational paths that combine philosophy, literature, history, cinema, theater, music, art, science, physics, new technologies with practical workshops. the study programs are built on research and innovation, combining new technologies with hands-on skills. the founding elements of marionannischolé represent the guidelines of an innovative educational approach while remaining rooted in the ancient principles of design.
marionannischolé traces a new path, where tradition meets the future and learning is nourished by experience. listening, solidity, functionality, beauty, harmony, and method intertwine in a dynamic balance, becoming the foundations capable of transforming knowledge into vision.
four are the fundamental concepts:
transmit: give continuity to knowledge, transfer ideas and values beyond time.
unhinge: break the patterns, open gaps in thought and redesign the meaning of design.
experiment: explore new languages and materials, transforming every intuition into possibility.
innovate: inhabit change, intertwining tradition and future with vision and courage.
here, the project is not just form, but essence in motion. a dialogue between the past, the present and what is yet to come.
marionannischolé has its headquarters in two unique places, each with its own soul, but united by the same vision of a holistic light: the marionannivirgola museum and the lalucechenonconosci archive.
the marionannivirgola museum, in via santo stefano 94, in the center of bologna, a 2,500 square meter space, is the heart of the school.
located in an eighteenth-century residence where artisan tradition and technological innovation meet, it is the space that also houses marionanni’s works and artistic journey, enhancing his unique creations, from lighting projects to artistic works, offering concrete testimony of his contribution to art and metalight.
the lalucechenonconosci archive, in bentivoglio, 5000 square meters divided between laboratories, classrooms, modeling workshops and exhibition spaces, will be continuously enriched.
